The City should do more to improve its existing recycling services and to encourage residents to reuse and recycle, as most of the waste that goes into landfill could have been recycled.
Recycling not only helps our environment (by reusing our precious resources and keeping hazardous materials away from our water sources and soil), but can also save money for our local and state governments – money that can be better spent on other things, such as playgrounds, footpaths, etc.
